Bowl Instructions

Bowling is a two-player game in which two players compete against each other. We have set out the following instructions in plain English for you so you can become a pro in no time.

The Goal

To hit as mant Pins as you can in order to accumulate more points than your opponent.

Pieces

In each turn, the player has 2 balls to hit as many of the 10 pins as possible.

How to Play?

The Shot
The player, who invited the other, starts the game. Firstly click on the ball to gain control of it you can then move it to the left or right. You can control the accuracy of shot using the "Shot Indicator" located in the right top corner of the game.
Strength
Click and hold the mouse button to determine the strength of the shot. You will see the red line moving towards the right of the indicator. Release the mouse button to stop the red line at the desired strength level; you will see a red triangle in the top line. The closer to the right, the stronger it will be the shot.
Spin
Immediately after setting the strength level, you will see the spin control moving towards the left in the form of a red line. When you click you can stop the spin line at the desired level; you will then see a red triangle in that line below. The distance between both triangles will determine the spin of the ball. The closest the point of alignment between the final position of the strength triangle and the spin triangle, the straighter the shot will be. The more to the left, the more the ball will spin to the left. The more to the right, the more the ball will spin to the right. The strength will be determined by the position of the strength triangle above.
Scoring
Players score one point per Pin down however when all Pins are shot at one, it is called a Strike. The score is calculated by adding the 10 points of the Strike plus the number of Pins knockdown in the next two balls. For example, if you strike first and then you get 5 and 3 in the next balls, your score will be 26 = [10 + (5+3)]+ (5+3).

If the player hits a Strike in the second ball, it is called a Half Strike. You will get 10 for the Strike, plus the score of the first ball of the next turn. If you strike in the last turn, which is the 10th Play, you will receive an extra turn of two balls. If you strike a Half Strike, you will get an extra turn of one ball. If a player hits Strikes in consecutively balls, it is called a Double Strike, a Triple Strike, etc.

Ending the Game

A player may resign (quit the game) at any time by clicking on the "Exit Game" button.
