New User Help - Profiles

Club Tropica Profiles are your very own pages which you can design and decorate how you wish. It is a chance for you to express your creativity using a wide range of widgets, stickers and backgrounds. You have no limitations as you can even upload your own stickers and backgrounds!

You can use your Profile to publish interesting things about yourself, what you are thinking, any events which you plan to run. You could also find other Club Tropica Customers who have things in common with you!

How do I view my Profile?

If you're logged in, you'll be able to click the 'My Profile' link located at the top of the page. If you're not logged in, you can type the URL http://www.clubtropica.com/X and replace 'X' with your username.

How do I place Stickers, Backgrounds and Widgets on my Profile?

We've made it really simple for you to add that creative touch to your Profile. Firstly go to your profile page and click 'Edit Mode' followed by 'Edit Page'. Then you can select from the 'My Stickers', 'My Backgrounds' or 'My Widgets', and then click 'Place' on the item you would like to appear on your page.

How do I buy more Stickers, Backgrounds and Widgets?

Firstly you will need to go to your profile page and click 'Edit Mode' followed by 'Edit Page'. At the top of the pop-up click 'Shop'. You will then notice the categories from the left hand side in which you can then buy from.

How do I add an additional page to my Profile?

Additional profile pages must be purchased and currently cost 5 Isla's, to add a new page open up your profile and click 'Edit Mode' followed by 'Edit Page'. On the pop-up, you'll find a link that reads 'My Pages' click this, and then at the bottom click the 'Buy' button.

How do I pick-up/remove Stickers, Backgrounds and Widgets on my Profile?

Firstly go to your profile page and click 'Edit Mode', then click 'Pick up Objects'. Click on any object to pick up from your page and it will then go back into your inventory. Remember to click 'Move Objects' to change it around otherwise you might end up picking more items that you had hoped for!

How do I upload my own Stickers and Backgrounds?

When viewing your Profile, click 'Edit Mode' followed by 'Edit Page'. At the top of the pop-up click 'Shop'. Then click 'Upload Sticker' or 'Upload Background' depending on which you wish to upload. There are rules associated with uploading images to Club Tropica which can be found by visiting the Image Rules Page.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL images, stickers and backgrounds uploaded to Club Tropica are checked by a team of Moderators; any image that is deemed unsuitable will be removed and you will NOT be refunded. Make sure you read the following rules before uploading an image to Club Tropica. Pleading ignorance will not get you a refund for deleted images, stickers and backgrounds.

How do I search through user Profiles?

Simply click 'Search' at the top of the page. A tip is to limit your search, define the type of person you're looking for as much as you can because there's a lot of Club Tropica users out there!

Is there a way of making my Profile private?

When logged in click 'My Account' to enter the account settings page, then click 'Privacy' on this page you will be able to choose who can see your Profile as well as being able to change a whole range of other privacy related subjects such as displaying your email address and who can send you messages.
