very very facinating phil your stories gave me the shivers!
And wow Dancer, i didnt know that one about grandad =D brill. the one at night was the strangest.
my opinion is that i do believe in ghosts and have heard some stories from relatives.
another from grandad, lol, was he was in the kitchen one night after locking up. just making a late cup of tea. nanny being upstairs. he saw a young victorian style person walk past the kitchen windows very smoothly. wearing a big victorian hat. when at the end of the series of windows the ghost dissapears......... straaaangge!!! well thats my input laterz =D

I luv reading these stories guys, keep them coming, I will be telling you another true story which happened to me at the same house I was talking about earlier in this thread. As for you Phil.....WOW, extremely wierd goings on, all I can say from a logical point of veiw (I know its impossible to be logical when these things happen) is have you ever heard of a 'ghost' hurting anyone, because I havnt ?

Havnt heard of a ghost hurting anyone, but the weird story that involves myself that I shouldn't say as I said before, is a touchy subject involves violence. Glad these stories are interesting you guys, I will be sure to update you guys whenever something does happen.

There have aparently been cases on Ghost Hunters (IMO the best one:) ) etc on TV where people feel pains and have big red marks or bruises etc?

I love that series too. My favourite (check out main page to this group) :) .
In fact I wonder if there will be a new series out soon, I am not sure where I am with it. Some seem to be repeats although it turns out I haven't seen them all which is good.
I think Phil could get in touch with them, surely they would love to go to his house and check it all out.
Hey, Phil, have you ever thought of asking anyone in to gather evidence? or have you tried yourself? Mind you, my mum and dad have never considered it, they just totally ignore it. Have done for years. I suppose we should at least check the history of the house. It is 100 years old so it must have some.
Looking forward to the next post :)

PS. I don't like the idea of anyone actually getting hurt though, but like all things/people here on earth, there are the good ones and the bad. Suppose that goes for everything, everywhere. I like to think there is more good than bad :)

That would be really neat, although I wouldn't really like all the attention set on my house etc. I have never really thought of gathering evidence but I may do so tonight as I have been having some weird feelings today. Thats what I'll do, I will set up a cam corder in my hallway viewing my whole upstairs where I here knocks at my door every night, maybe I will capture something.. if I do ill post it on youtube and you guys can check it out.
