Hey,

I've been speaking to a number of new users, and they keep mentioning the same thing and I would love to hear your input as to how to improve this,

Most new users find modifying their profile confusing. In my opinion, I think because it is so simple they expect there to be more to it.. however I would love to hear everyones input as to if you find it confusing, and areas where we could improve the system for new users?

Many thanks,

James

Well, as I was a member of HabboRemix and Habbo, I do not find editing my profile to be confusing or hard.
But I can understand where some people would find it confusing.

I like the way that profiles work, but I think that it could be done in an easier way, something like adding a right-click feature to the profiles that will bring up the shop menu and instead of categorising the stickers, have them all on one 'page' but have sub-titles to break them up.

I hope this helps,
Matt

Is there a pattern to the confusion ?

I feel like saying, that if I can do it surely anyone can! but the funny thing is, when I spoke to a few other people (2 of which were in their teens one older) I was surprised to hear they all found it a bit confusing. And here was I thinking that all teens were brilliant at using computers.

If I think of anything I will add it here. :-)

While I think of it. On our profile pages we are used to clicking 'save' and then 'exit edit page'. I am not sure it is the same when it comes to the group profile pages, ie. no 'exit edit page'. This would be a bit confusing as their work wont be saved unless they think to reload the page.
