yep, looks like we all agree that, although it is so sad for someone young to die, we must remember that this is happening every day to other people and they won't even be known let alone remembered. I think a cervical cancer screening unit or better still, mobile units like the ones you see around for breast screening, would be a really good idea, all in her name.

It is a warning though- so CT girls, don't skip your check ups! :-)

Actually, talking of young people dying, I read yesterday that one of the actors from the U.S. TV series ANGEL, a spin off to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died at the weekend, the green demon. I remember him.

Me again! spooky, just heard in the background on a radio outside that it is Jade Goody's funeral tomorrow. Her poor family and friends.

Personally, I never liked Jade Goody, and if a statue should be built, why her? Thousands of people die of Cancer, and she was famous for Big Brother...

It's only my opinion, but honestly, why Jade Goody?

I agree with you Orchid. In 60 years time people will look at a statue and think who the ....! but if they put that money towards a cancer facility think how many people would benefit.Anyway statues probably already up now !:-)
