GH, I agree with you totally.
It's awful to think that some completely evil criminal could be happily browsing the net, even looking up his poor victims, probably by name on sites like Face Book. How creepy is that? How can the prison authorities have been so stupid not to have even have thought of that.
And as for that young girl going off out to meet the 'boy friend' she met on Face Book and him turning out to be an adult that had pretended to be a teenager, that is awful too, he must have put a fake photo up and not one of himself. Surely every one knows not to go meeting people they don't really know - especially alone! Did her parents even know she was going to do this? I do believe most people both young and old know this online rule by now. I would not expect my nephew or niece, both teenagers to do anything so stupid, infact I am almost positive they wouldn't.
Now I have got myself thinking! aah and I only popped onto CT for a quick look............. I think if I knew someone (of any age) that was desperate to go meet an online 'friend' I would insist on going with them to a crowded place like a shopping centre or something like that. mm, I don't know really you could even meet someone in real life that you think is nice and they could turn out to be a total nutter.
Think I'll stay home! :)
