Azzle's Top Summer Tips
Week 2
I thought I would start with a bit of bad news first, because then, instead of ending on a low we can start with a low, which means it could only get better? Doesn't it?
Unfortunately, next week there will be no summer top tips as I'll be doing a summery thing and I'll be in Spain for a week. However, I will still write it when I'm over there as I'm taking my laptop and there could be a few times I have access to Wi-Fi so I MAY post it then, if not, I'll make an extra big one the week after!
Anyway, let's get started. It has been a bit wet this week, so some people may have struggled on what to do and where to spend their times, so this is where this article comes in!!
Best summer places to go
As the sun has gone in and the clouds are crying, I thought I would give a few indoor activities you can do. Today was the final day of this year in my college, we did plan on having a BBQ, but because of the weather we decided to organise a huge picnic in the common room! Everyone brought a bit of food and we just munched out, so if the rain is falling and the weather is miserable and you were having that BBQ, turn it into a huge picnic!! All you need is people, food and a comfortable floor!
Sam says why not try out swimming or bowling or even ice skating. I agree, because even though it's raining, it still can be quite humid, so ice skating and swimming will be perfect to cool down and have fun! However, I cannot go swimming without a shower cap on... I don't want to ruin my hair!
Chloeee recommends sky diving. Actually, I know someone who done a sponsored sky dive for charity, I'd love to go sky diving but not in the rain...
.
Joe says "You can play football with the lads, have a few bevies and have a bbq with the girl friends watching"
The Best Summer Must-Have Products
When it's hot, my summer must-have is a handheld fan. I actually bought a fan from a shop in my local shopping centre that has an LED light on one of the blades, and when you turn it on, you can programme it to light up and say something. The only problem with it is that the batteries run down quite fast.
DANCER says "Make sure you wash and condition your hair to keep it shiny and yummy in the sunshine also it is always nice to use a shampoo that smells pretty especially on hot sticky days. I love the Herbal Essences." and DANCER's Mum says "Don't forget to have a pedicure, no one wants to see dry old crackly heeled feet about the place. Even you boys should have nice tidy nails when your tootsies are on show."
Tips For Keeping Cool
For this week, my recommendations are to run outside in the rain screaming. It's very refreshing! Previously, I was doing some circus work and I was so hot and sweaty and it started raining at the end of the session so I walked home in the rain, it was VERY refreshing!!!
DANCER says walking around naked should keep you cool, however it's not too difficult to keep cool with this weather we're having.
Azzle's Top Tip of the Week
Well, I had a hair cut yesterday and my hair dresser made my hair thinner and shorter so I won't get hot for the summer! Also, with it being thinner it makes it easier to style.
