The Islander - Weekly Newsletter
19th August 2009
I'm really sorry for not posting the Islander for a couple of weeks, I've been so busy with the release of the ClubTropica Arcade and it shows because we've just sold over 200 games and still climbing. I've really had no time to do anything in between adding games and giving out awards, so I apologise if this seems a bit rushed! After seeing the weekly stats from the last time I had posted them, I think it really does back up my claim that I made in a previous post, I now think we can call ClubTropica the first successful Social Community Site. Also, I'm running out of ideas for The Islander and I need your help, so if you have a great article that you want to see in next week's Islander, then Message Me!
Once again, I apologise for not posting The Islander, I have been really busy.
Enjoy this week's issue!
Thanks,
TMan, Azzle and Jaffas.
Making Friends!
Making friends on ClubTropica doesn't only make you stay here longer, but it also opens up more things to do with your friends, such as making a group with them, or even creating a community team! There are plenty of people that will want to be your friend on ClubTropica, whether that be someone similar to you, or someone that has totally different tastes than you.
Probably the easiest way to add friends is to visit someones profile and click the 'Add as Freind' link on their page but there are ohter ways also. You can invite friends from other online services such as GMail or Facebook by going to This Page, here you can add all your friends from other websites and don't worry, none of your login information is saved, so it's very safe. You can also find your friends by searching for them via the Search Page, here you can search users by an array of options such as email, phone number or even just their username.
It pays to add someone that is very active in the community to get to know how the community works and also, you can then ask them any questions you may have about ClubTropica.
Did you know..?
Here our our weird and wonderful facts for this week!

The Poll Results!
We asked you whether you had ever posted a blog and 35% of you had blogged on ClubTropica, 35% had never blogged, 18% said they have blogged on another website and 12% said they had never blogged, but where going to.
Make sure you vote in this week's poll!
