Well folks, even though we have all been freezing our socks off in the UK and have had more snow so far than our ClubTropica friends in Canada (check out Cameron’s photos) we would like to wish you all a very warm toasty welcome to the first edition of CT News. This is to be your very own magazine and as with all things on ClubTropica, we would like you to 'Express Yourselves' and 'Get Involved' by sending in anything you may like to share with us that you think is fun, interesting...Or sharable. ...(Is that even a word?) and we can then use it in the next edition.
How good will that be! more for you to read. And when ClubTropica is busy and we have another fantastic Community Team, there will also be another edition of The Islander to look forward to! as well as News updates from your ClubTropica Representative Team.
Firstly we must congratulate Azzle, Management and Chloee for doing a top job these last few months as the community Team ‘Menga’. 
(We also feel compelled to mention that we all enjoyed many laughs joining in with Azzle’s Summer and Winter Tips! We say “bring on Azzle's Spring Tips“!) So, don't forget to congratulate and thank the old ex-team if you see them around anywhere! We wouldn't be surprised if you don't catch Chloeee and friends in her favourite place 'the CT Chatroom', occasionally joined by Management if he is not working from the early hours until late, and we all know, he has been known to fall asleep whilst in there. As for Azzle, well we are sure 'he'll be back'!
More news…Corr, aren't you lucky?! DANCER is now our Community Director -wish her the best of luck if you see her around anywhere! Busy as always trying to make our ‘newbies’ & our ‘oldies’ feel at home and not forgotten, as well as keeping you from being bored by coming up with interesting things on the forums! Now we've decided to give her an assistant so that she will hopefully get the occasional day off! Welcome Day our new Assistant Community Director! (...Pun intended!)

We enjoyed meeting you in December for "Adrian’s Quiz Night" hosted by DANCER on the mic, alongside Ady & Mr Superb typing like crazy! We'd like to congratulate: Dans, Katie and Frankiem who were the ClubTropica brains that night!
Moving On...The Christmas Profile Results & 12 Days Christmas Sign In! Christmas profiles: Our spruced up, snow-covered Christmas profiles were fantastic! We had a hard time choosing from the beautiful, the fun, happy happy and the most crazy! (Just looking at Edsters's required a health warning). The ultimate conclusion we came to was a tie between Chris and Dans. Well done to both!
12 days Christmas sign in: Only a few people stayed the full 12 courses on this one! However, the winner was Kevin who managed to pop on to CT each of the 12 Days of Christmas to say Hi, Konnichiwa or Bonjour! - Chris almost made it but just could not stand any more of DANCERS awful jokes, so he decided to watch panto’s back to back on DVD instead.
ClubTropica Representatives + Their Own Brand of Competitions! Our new ClubTropica Representative team consists of two managers: Lite and Rosscfc. They were the master minds that arranged our Christmas Mini Competitions with the help of our fantastic CT users. "The Best Looking Christmas Pud in Town" (by Chris) was won by TMan’s ‘Evil Xmas Pud’ - Well done TMan! Although when we caught up with him, he did say “It didn’t taste very good :P”! "Unscramble those Christmas Words.- won by Dans and "What’s the difference (by Chris)" - won by Davids.
ClubTropica Arcade You must've heard about the fantastic 'ClubTropica Arcade' app; designed, created AND maintained by Kevin and TMan. They had some fantastic Christmas events going on over the winter period! (Sorry if you missed 'em, they'll no doubt have more...!) Our very own ClubTropica technophobe DANCER managed to bag herself 25 isla! So well done to her!
Finishing Up! Last, but by no means least - we'd like to welcome our newest, youngest, cutest CT person - Kacie, AK47’s baby girl, born in November 2009. 
Kacie had a seemingly impossible birth date to guess! She decided to make her entrance fashionably late; we say: Good on you, Kacie! We're all ecstatic to hear that both mummy and baby are doing well and have just enjoyed their first Christmas together. ...
