Isola's / Volunteer Moderator
Isola's are the ClubTropica Guides, kind of like holiday reps, they are there to welcome you to the website. They help new users around Club Tropica and can assist with any questions or, issues you may have regarding chatroom features and safety. Isola are also Voluntary Moderators, they are responsible for taking action against makers when they do something that breaks one of the ClubTropica rules or, contacting a moderator if they think that a more serious punishment is needed.
What 'powers' do Isola's have?
Isola's have certain additional powers to help aid their volunteer position. These include:
- Moderating Image, Sticker, and Background Uploads
- Banning Users and Restricting Access to Profile/Group Pages
- Alerting Users Remotely
We closely monitor all allegations/suspicions of power abuse seriously. All situations are investigated thoroughly and dealt with as appropriate. If you would like to complain about a Moderator, email us via the Contact Us and select the 'Account Queries' option.
Can I become an Isola?
Anyone can apply to become an Isola, providing they meet a few simple requirements. If you can answer yes to the following questions, then you can apply to become an Isola:
- Are you of the age of 18 or over?
- Is your account over 9 weeks old?
- Have you logged into Club Tropica more than 120 times?
- Do you have a clean record? Is your account free from bans and privilege suspensions?
- Can you answer questions about Club Tropica?
If you answered no to any of the above then unfortunately you cannot apply to become an Isola at this time, don't panic though, we will be recruiting more in the future and there is no reason why you cannot apply then!
